If I were you I would strongly advise reading these rules for they are a little bit different then the normal Clan Card game. If you want to play with Moves and Cards scroll almost all the way down.
#1. Getting Started
You must have an account to play. Go sign the guestbook to make an account. To do this simply type
your clan name
apperance (of the cat)
and type of personality (of the cat)
You have 5 points to start with so you can buy your cards. To know you have a user account go look at the user account page.
Here is a simple apprentice card
The first box is SPEED. Speed determines which one of your warriors goes first. The second box is ATTACK. Attack is attack! Depending on what the card your attacking defense is, that amount will come out of cards HP. The third box is DEFENSE. This decides how much HP you lose. Example: Icewind attacks Firepatch. Icewind's attack is 10. Firepatch's defense is 5. Firepatch loses 5 HP. In the case of a card with a higher defense, you may still attack it. HALF of the attack is taken out of the HP. Example: Icewind's attack is 30, he attacks Firepatch who's defense is 40. Firepatch loses 15 HP. HP is how much life your card has. Once one card loses all HP, that card is DEAD and can't return to play. #2. Class You will see that each card has a CLASS. Their are seven classes. Apprentices are more inexperianced so they have lower stats then other cards. Apprentices will grow eventually to be a warrior. Warriors are the average card. Mentor's have a special ablity like the Med. Cat and the Queen. They can add some of their speed, defence, and attack to any apprentice that is in play. For example, Desertpaw and Olivewhisker are in play. Olivewhisker can only donate 5 per apprentice. Either Olivewhisker can donate 5 speed, 5 attack or 5 defence. You can only do that once per mentor. Leaders have better stats and the ability to return to play after three turns of DEATH. They may only do this ONCE! Medicine Cats have lower attack, but high HP. They can transfer their HP to other cards in play. They may only transfer 20 HP per turn, and only to Apprentices, Warriors, Leaders, and Queens (not to the kits). Once they have transferred all their HP, they are DEAD. Queens have a special abilaty also, they can bring kits to the field. Now you may be thinking, What a stupid idea to put kits in the field, WRONG! Kits (ironicly) are the ones who can have the most HP and can team up with other kits thus adding there speed, attack and defence. For example, Crystalwing, the queen card, has to wait four turns before she can bring Shykit to the field. Once four turns are up she can decide to give Shykit 5 of her HP which would give Shykit 50 HP. If she were to give 10 HP, Shykit would have 100 HP. One rule is you may not exceed 100 HP. If the queen uses all of her HP on her kit(s) the Queen is DEAD. She may only bring a kit to the field ONCE! When kittens team up they add their stregths together. Here is a kitten class card that has been put together. There speed, defence, and attack has been doubled! Now if we were to add Shykit to the mix...all of their powers are combinded which means they have 30 speed 30 attack and 30 defence! #3. Placement of cards Every deck must have at least 6 cards. You must have 6 cards to play. Your deck must contain one Medicine Cat, no more then three Leaders, and one Starting card(apprentice). You place all six cards on field. You must announce all your cards to your opponent. Example: Player 1 "I'll place my Leopardpaw, Tigerstripe, Lionclaw, Patherpath, Peachlick, Honeynose, Spottedstar, Snowstorm, Flowerpetal, and Coolbreeze cats on the battle field" Player 2 must keep track of the cards or Player 1 might cheat and same with Player 1! Player 2 also says the same, I take out and such. All cards attack in turn, medicine cats can Transfer OR attack, they can't do both in one turn. You may attack any card you want, but only one attack per card. You may not have all your cards attack one target. #4. Battling You must have an opponent to battle. There will be NO fake battles or fake wins of any kind. The battle is turn based. Example: Player 1 places all cards on battle field calline their names and stats, "I place Icewind(10,10,10,20)" Like that, for each card. It goes speed, attack, defence, and HP. When you call an attack, you must call like this: "Icewind(10,10,10,20) attacks Firepatch. Once battling begins, you may forfeit at any time, this will be an auto-win for your opponent. Once all of one players cards are DEAD, they lose. Please keep talking during the battles to a minim. You MUST post results of battle in guestbook! Your battle will be posted in the BATTLE STATS until it has been a month. #5. Points For every battle you win, you earn 5 battle points. These points can help you gain better cards. #6. The rules are exactly the same with the cards, I am here to tell you about the second half...the Moves! Every turn you use one of your Clan-mate cards and your own Move. Your Moves, when you start out, are Scratch (5), Bite(5) and your own special move which is 5 as well. Every time you battle, you gain points no mattter what (except when you forfiet!) These points are to be used to upgrade your moves. What you don't have to buy to upgrade is your special move. Example: Firepatch's moves are Scratch (5), Bite (5), Slash (10), The Firepatch (10) you can tell in this situation that Firepatch has upgraded to Slash and his special move is up to ten! You get your special move to level up as you win more battles. You get 1 point up on your special move and hp, every time you battle! No matter if you win or lose. If you win you get 5 points. Now go out there and play!
